C.B.T stands for compulsory basic training.  This is a program developed by the government to ensure that motorcyclists are trained to a standard that ensure that they are safe enough to ride on public roads.

There are five elements to the program, including: introduction to the course, and a talk on personal protective equipment, introduction to the bike, maintenance of the bike, riding the bike on a training pad in a safe area and a two hour road ride.

The price for a C.B.T with Sureriding is £99 which includes bike hire, fuel and personal protective clothing.

Training is carried out on motorcycles from 50cc to 500cc (at age 21).

You will be trained by qualified instructors who you must satisfy that you are safe and competent before being issued with your DL196 certificate.

A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required in advance to secure CBT courses.
